‘Bildung’ is a German concept, roughly translating as a continuous process of learning and growth throughout life. This digital work was inspired by ideas relating to Systems Change, in research I undertook in a role as Creative Reviewer for Dyffryn Dyfodol (translates as Future Valley) a socially-engaged project in the Conwy Valley, Wales. I used source material from the project, splicing and layering text and images from archives and original sources. This is one of a series playing with text and image, exploring ideas relating to future systems, environment and sustainability.
