I work mostly with etching, monotype and embossing, and each piece is a unique, original work. I have been intrigued by the circle for some time, with its paradox of complex associated ideas, expressed in such a simple form. Related to this, I am also interested in the tension between boundary and boundlessness, where the sphere of the earth meets the sky. The horizon seems to represent the concept of indefinite existence and events of the past, present and future; for me, it symbolises time. I try to express all this through my circles and lines.
