Born in 1984 Arron practices in his native land of North Wales where he works in his own devised medium (like VR painting but IRL).

Early on, my practice was divided between painting and sculpture, so I began to develop my own medium: sculptural oil painting. The aim was to lift oil paint from surface and work in 3D and real time, like VR but in real life. It enabled me to have the best of both worlds: the colour, richness, and workability of oils, and the presence, form, and texture of sculpture.

Nearly 2 decades on It still thrills me to paint like this; honestly, I just feel privileged to be able to do it at all.
