1000 identical curves

In his book "The Analysis of Beauty". Hogarth proposes that the serpentine line, "the Line of Beauty" is inherent in all successful works of visual art. He quotes Lamozzo, "For the greatest grace and life that a picture can have, is, that it expresse Motion". This series of images records various permutations of a "Line of Beauty" travelling a path defined by variations of itself.
