18 Shrines (detail Shrine IV)

Result of Colle Verde residency, Lucca. Based on the numerous religious shrines found by the roadsides. Each resembles a starched nun's whimple surrounding a religious motif. Use of flowers is based on the Victorian 'The Language Of Flowers'.
