23 August 1994

By Duncan Mountford 1995
This work was assembled from the discarded office furniture found on site, with the addition of lights to illuminate a central void. The title came from the date of a page of obituries found in one of the drawers of the broken desk. A work about the fragmentary remains of employment, as it was sited in an ex-factory that was being used as a site for start-up businesses.
