36lbs of dust

A full size single mattress made entirely from recycled tumble dryer lint. Tumble dryer lint contains particles of skin, hair and the clothing which we wear close to our bodies, beds are where we are born and where we die. The debris scattered around the work is comprised of articles found in the filter along with the lint and includes table confetti from various celebrations such as weddings and birthdays. Described as "haunting" this work represents a human life.
