A butterfly flaps its wings without a care for the chaos it brings

By  Dex Hannon 2021
This is the digital remix of a geomtric painting I did called 'Juxtaposed Duality', an oil painting created in 2013. I photographed the painting and reconstructed it. Turned the original painting into the background for this work. I took the photographs of the red admiral around the same time and digitally cut them into the work. The ambivalence towards art is how all of nature feels towards all of humanities achievements. They care very little for anything that we do. Limited editions of 10 signed and numbered canvases or giclee prints on Hahnemuhle paper are available. Once 10 have been sold the original file is destroyed.
