Paper Costume made during a residency at Villa Empain, Brussels.
Akarova was a Belgian avant-garde dancer. During my research on Akarova I discovered proof that she once danced at the Villa.
Akarova made most of her own costumes.
I derived this paper costume and posed in the garden of the Villa.
