A March Towards the End of the World

By Holly Slingsby 2012

Judith Carlton

An interactive performance at LUPA, London, loosely based on the Book of Revelation. The work takes the form of a pseudo-sacred procession where the audience are given crowns to wear and props to carry. They are then led on a march by the Woman Clothed in the Sun towards the apocalypse. At the end of the march I reveal an Easter egg from under my robe, smash it, and share the chocolate with the audience.
