A Terrible Calamity

Found clothes and fabric, acrylic, bobbins, thread and wool on linen, 85 x 100 cm. Work in response to the disastrous collapse of the Newlands Mill in Bradford in 1882, resulting in 54 fatalities. Each bobbin represents a worker who died.
