Accident and Emergency (It's a cultural battleground), Part Two

As a series of six light boxes, the installation exists in two parts; accompanying the installation is a temporary web site animation. The two separate, yet related locations give rise to the concept of site in the first instance, whilst simultaneously exploring themes of identity and perception through the work's engagement with literary and cinematic devices. Part of the series shows two scenes of seascape paintings hung in a domestic space. The series is intersected by four light boxes showing a 'battle' between a toy ballerina and robot; arranged in a manner appropriate to the photo romanza.
