AEOLIAN MELODY

The subject matter of this painting explores being immersed in the elements associated with a place situated in rough inhospitable terrain and my personal reactions to that experience through a language of gestural mark making. Mixed media painting on paper incorporating gestural mark making with use of layered techniques, water colour paint, acrylic ink and chalk pastel.
