All that Glitters

This free motion embroidery is part of a series I've made using Alchemy as the underlying theme, when working with a local contempoary arts group called Artel. Mounted on a box canvas 43cm square it also incorporates fragments of gold fabric and some tiny addtional hand stitches. It will also be shown at the Bankside Gallery, London as part of an international exhibition called The Art of Embroidery. It is titled All that Glitters--
