Almost Quiet

The embroidery is an attempt to map the unseen environment and to pay close attention to the shifting spatial and temporal patterning of ambient sounds. In this process a duet emerges between the mutable, texture, and patterning of my aural terrain with the rhythm, pace, and mobility of my needle.

Almost Quiet was presented at the VIII International Triennial of Textile Arts 2024, Szombathely Gallery, Hungary from 6th -29th March 2024.
