'and then they were gone'

A wall based work comprising of 30 folded 0.5 copper sheet forms, ranging in length from 53 –11.5 cm. These are positioned and held on pins so that they appear to float away from the wall. The changes of natural light and the shadows cast by the forms are important elements of the work, creating a transient and ephemeral quality. The way in which the curve of the forms touch the wall and how the forms almost touch each other but remain separate is also an expressive aspect of the construction.
