Like the previous drawing, this one took a few years, not only because it's pretty large and time-consuming to make, but also because it lay dormant for a long time, which seems appropriate when I consider what I think the drawing is working with, which is very much about time, distance, space and material. Eventually I want it to set it in a bespoke frame behind glass and to lean against a wall, much more of a drawn object, sitting alongside other works, including other drawings and moving image pieces. I'm waiting for some decent documentation but this will do for time being.
