ANGE(L) Icon version.

This piece is inspired by the collaborative work of Karl Herzog & Erich Von Holst on the aerodynamic motion of bird’s wings. It consists in the superposition of a pair of diagrams drawn by Herzog on the subject. The head & tail of the bird have been omitted and the modified superposition reveals a new diagram representing a very peculiar set of wings where the information from the original diagrams has been “mashed up”. This 2025 version is an acrylic painting on board in the classic shape on an icon.
