Articulate

Julie Brixey-Williams

8m Long calligraphic sculpture that articulates with (and can be hinged to) architecture or the landscape. Free calligraphy applied using a resist technique and Chinese ink to paper, that is bonded to scrim. It assumes the shapes of the location, allowing it to speak of place.
