Artist in Residence 2

By Karen Wallis 2014
Artist in Residence is a second work that reflects on my three-year residency at The Holburne Museum in Bath, during their closure for redevelopment. The concluding exhibition fulfilled the museum’s brief, in showing the process of their development project, but the sensory and expressive elements of dust, noise, and conversation remained relatively hidden. This drawing attempts to recall the physical experience of ‘being there’.
