Artist in Residence @ Conwy Culture Centre

Conwy Culture Centre will open in Autumn 2019 and will house a new Art Gallery, as well as become the new home of the County Archives and Conwy library. I am one of three artists taken on to support and respond to this transition. From late August 2018 to January 2019 I collaborated closely with Siân Hutchinson who ran a number of art workshops linked to the history and the Archive collection as well as supporting my photography. In addition, the third artist in residence, Lisa Heledd Jones has made a series of fascinating oral history recordings with people in the community associated with the site and specifically, Ysgol Bodlondeb School. The resulting work will be shown at the centre in late Spring 2020.
