Artist Residency and Solo Show at the House of Annetta

A digital artwork featuring a woman's face rendered with a glowing, neon-like edge detection effect. The primary colours are vibrant reds and pinks, with sharp white lines outlining the contours of the face, hair, and large, round glasses. The background is dark, enhancing the luminous quality of the figure, suggesting an uncovering or highlighting of hidden forms.

In Summer 2022, I had a residency at the ‘House of Annetta’ Spitalfields London UK, supported by Assemble.

During my Artist Residency at the House of Annetta (2022), I explored the space by peeling back the layers of conversations hidden in the walls of the house. I created a selection of photographic mixed media series I have now released as Open Edition Prints in small size (A4) and which will be included in my upcoming artist book.

Annetta Pedretti was a cybernetic linguist who sadly died in 2018, leaving her house to the Community.

Image Description for Accessibility: A digital mixed-media image that overlays and fragments two different renditions of a woman's face. The left side of the composition features a neon-edged, predominantly purple depiction of a face wearing round glasses, with prominent white outlines. This overlaps a darker, more textured, and less defined image of another face on the right, also with glasses, set against a background that includes a purple-hued, almost ghostly pattern. The collage-like effect and colour treatment evoke a sense of deconstruction and multiple layers.
