'Cultivate and Celebrate: Treasures of the Kitchen Garden' was a year long residency at Tatton Park, Cheshire, which included two solo exhibitions. The work focused on the value and inherent beauty of food plants and made links between the Mansion, as treasure house, and the Kitchen Garden as heart of the estate. Work included paintings, drawings, photographs, fabric and wallpaper designs, mixed media and three dimensional pieces. Two and three dimensional pieces were exhibited in the Mansion kitchen, staterooms and exhibition room and growing artworks were in the Kitchen Garden. Seen here are 'Not just the harvest 1: Maize' and 'Not just the Harvest 2: Runner Bean' - the lifesize entire plants were illustrated on large scrolls.
