Babirusa, Pitt-Rivers

By Lisa Temple-Cox 2022
Studies of a babirusa pig skull from the collection of the Pitt-Rivers museum, Oxford. Inspired by a striking illustration of one in Wallace's book 'The Malay Archipelago', I am interested in seeing and drawing a number of specimens from different natural history collections. Listed as vulnerable, they are found only on Sulawesi and some of the smaller islands adjacent.
