Bad Bandage

By  Alice Kin 2021

On the 14th of June 2017, Grenfell Tower burned.
72 lives were lost and many more deeply impacted by the horror and the aftermath. 2025 and justice has not been brought to bear.

On a different June 14th, with family in a London high-rise, Kin found solace in ritual. Unpacking a First Aid Kit and taking photos, it was a scorching hot sunny day.

Many times removed from the true grief, loss and negligence, these photographs perhaps say more of being Underclass, being cut and bruised on an ordinary day, being out of the focus of those deemed responsible to make important decisions
