Looking at the vocabulary used to describe aging in men and women we often see more positive descriptions of the older male figure. This image shows a torso captured and frozen in all its 2000 year old glory by a sculpture. Age and time still work, even on stone, and today, turned back into flesh by the artist's brush we still perceive the glory of the male human figure, even as it has aged.
