Betting Pens

Inkjet print on mdf I was intrigued by the blue pens that I frequently spotted in the gutter or on the pavement along my road. Eventually I traced the source to a nearby betting shop. These discarded objects seem to imply narratives of frustrated dreams, disappointment and anger.
