Biographies

This piece uses random profile images from the internet cut into books that have had their covers neutralised by grafting the top layer off. Biography as a genre suggests that it should be possible to know something about a person through the reading of the book. Yet the books here are stripped of identity, and the profiles are anonymous, calling into question this notion and perhaps identifying a remoteness that may or may not exist through the Internet.
