A wall based work, comprising of 12 soldered hollow forms made from recycled lead organ pipes. The surface of the lead alloy has been sanded with fine sand paper and wire wool to create a silver grey finish. The forms hang from the wall on pins so that the forms appear to float.. The shadows that the forms cast are important aspects of the work and also the way in which the changes of natural light throughout the day alter the presence of the whole construction. The arrangement of the forms creates a movement upwards and refers to silence, memory of distance, a particular space and time.
