Bleeding London

R. Kearns

Combining cartography with an elevated perspective, the scale I have used to map back the landscape onto the canvas creates a sense of place that is anamorphic and unfamiliar. The colour palette, inspired by a particular map of London, suggests a physicality that refers to the human body.
