28 piece hanging. Each of the 28 collages are different, as are each of the batiks, while the image which has been digitally printed over the collage is repeated in each. Print colour and dye colour were deliberately restricted in order to examine the differences between dye colour and the sprayed giclee colour of the print. I chose Cyan blue - a blue which will achieve the highest saturation of colour when printed. For the dyed pieces I used layering techniques to achieve the purest of colour on the fabric.
