Boat Trip: Nothing but flowers (Book and DVD)

The book and DVD offer alternative versions of live Boat Trips on the Manchester Ship Canal. An exploration of how people and this constructed environment co-exist unfolds by bringing together perceptions that are personal and corporate, anecdotal and observed, imagined and performed. The book is 64 pages with 116 colour photographs. Views of the bank from the boat, documented activities at various locations and an aerial view are supplemented by stories and essays from boat passengers. The DVD echoes the original format of the boat trip by inserting interludes into the view of the passing bank plus an accompanying commentary.
