Body of Knowledge charm necklace, 2025. Recycled sterling silver, recycled pewter.
The medium of jewellery was chosen because of its direct contact with and relationship to the human body. Here, jewellery is proposed as a form of wearable sculpture.
Silver chain and handmade pewter and silver charms made from organic casting and a process of drawing with molten silver.
Each charm is informed by dream images, symbolic significance and a knowledge that comes from somatic awareness and and embodied process of making.
The necklace is the culmination of years of narrative and bodily enquiry into processing a period of anxiety, depersonalisation and derealisation.
