Boundaries

L1 Architecture and Visual Artist Shelley Theodore  formed a collaborative intention for the 2019 RNIB Open Call entitled Boundaries. The submission explored the notion of defences as strategic boundaries pairing both psychological and military analogies to exhibit fortifications, screens, curtains and particular moments in time. The exhibition proposed included both domestic & military imagery, in an effort to expose the connections between these, with their ingenuity, inventiveness & variety.
