Brace (1&2)

Brace : something that holds parts together or in place, as a clasp or clamp. : anything that imparts rigidity or steadiness. : to fix firmly; make steady; secure against pressure or impact. Brace : address, confront, concern, observation, support, splint. This duo of works came about in an abstract thought on the journey of a voice, of a message. The void inside some of the bold outlines symbolises the wholeness in communication, how it breaks, misleads, departs from intended connotation.
