Bridge

David Harker

Dimensions
25cm x 35cm

This drawing is one of a series made during a Residency in Lincoln, Lincolnshire. My Residency project was to produce artwork in response to the Usher Gallery collection of paintings of 19th Century watercolourist Peter De Wint. The Usher Gallery is a public art gallery in Lincoln holding a major collection of De Wints work, a significant part of which is the depiction of viewpoints in and around Lincoln. My drawing shows a fragment of a viewpoint looking west from a point east of Lincoln City Centre, the features being the bridge, the river Witham and a residential tower block.
