Brockwell Park, Photography

This View from Brockwell Park in Brixton, taken during the pandemic,  oversees the whole of City of London, showing how close the suburbs are to the city centre.

It takes from the council estates of Brixton, Guys & St Thomas Tower and then leading you from the Shard into the City of London. It leads you from extreme poverty to the extreme wealth of the banks. The beating heart of the city, really, at the time, was the hospital, saving peoples' lives. For more, have a look at the artwork, Heart of the City.

Image Description for Accessibility:

Digitally retouched art photograph of the London skyline with a view from Brockwell Park, dominated by several prominent skyscrapers, all rendered in a striking monochrome red palette against an entirely red sky. The sharp outlines of buildings like The Shard are clearly visible, with lighter red highlights defining their structures against a darker red background, creating a bold and somewhat ominous visual effect.
