By Degrees is 6 minute animation of a large brain that changes colour imperceptibly over the course of the film. The film (part of a larger body of work that explores how we think of the brain depicted via film, photography and sculpture) represents how changes in the brain, whether through education, experience, misinformation, mental health or brain related illnesses take place encased in the armour of our skulls, unseen and unnoticed.
