Caesura

Caesura is carved from Carrara Marble. The sculpture began as one form, representing the internal and external body and a bridge between the two; a link between the inner and outer world. This single form was physically stretched to its limits, split apart and became two elements of the single form – linked by a caesura; a moment of stillness.
