Cairnhill is a garden situated in the south west of France, which was started in 2009. The area covers 1-½ hectares including a hillside, woodland, river and stream. Contemporary art exhibitions and educational workshops have run in the garden since 2014, opening to the public for specific charitable events and national festivals. The garden is a designated refuge for the Ligue pour la Protection des Oiseaux, with no pesticide use and land management that respects wildlife and the environment. There are seven beehives placed in the garden and the horticulture is aimed at creating the best possible conditions for them. Both French and English are used at Cairnhill. http://jardin-cairnhill.tumblr.com
