Can You Believe It Victor?

Ann Denison
The work challenges the duplicity of a society so permissive of the suffering of others, dressed in a veneer of respectability that simultaneously condemns 'innocent' behaviour in others. In this work Ann exemplifies this trend by reference to the glorification of Alexander the Great's devastation of the land and the contrasting 'moral outrage' at male penguins' natural behaviour drawn from a contemporary newspaper report.
