As with the rubble of the classical past Cascade considers the evolution and decline of systems. A memento mori to the cycle of technological advancement where the imperfections of the analogue aesthetic are resurrected and re written for a digital age.
Partially submerged brass fragments protrude like classical ruins amongst the flowing black mass of information.
Cascade follows in the romantic traditions of the picturesque by depicting an idealized vista where the relics of a faded analogue generation appear like a vanquished pagan world.
