Choreocallibrary 1

Sebastian Brixey-Williams

First of three paintings made in response to a 3-day residency at the Barbican Library, London, looking at the movements of bodies in the space. Each canvas represents one day and builds into a triptych. The movements of the public are translated into calligraphic hieroglyphs across the space. Each canvas can exists as a separate work or be bought together for £4200.
