"Cold River Palestinian Refugee Camp, Lebanon: Not Goodbye To All That!

I painted this from sketches I made from my sighting of this destroyed refugee camp whist travelling around Lebanon in 2010. When it comes to questions of identity and heritage there is a double tragedy here in that not only were the former residents dispossessed of their homes in 1948 but for many younger residents this was the only place they knew.
