Collaboration 2020 Covid

Working with a painter in London via email. A great collaborative ' pilot' project. We alternate to set a brief each week. This gives both of us freedom to create in different and playful ways. Inspiration from each others work as well as motivation to meet the deadlines but not being too precious. For both of us we have had breakthroughs with our practice.

Bcalm has a history of transition starting from 2013 when I exhibited this painting in a solo show in London, Thomas and Paul Gallery. Returning after the show I modified the painting by simplifying the complex array of shapes and making subtle changes to the colour values. Then in early 2015, post West Pier Art project, I changed it again.
