‘colour, form, reflection and absorption #7’

Gary James Williams

relief: acrylic on plywood 61 x 32.5 x 2.5cm 2016-2017 In the series ‘colour, form, reflection and absorption’, space is defined, re-defined and re-invented. Leaning upon a void beyond familiar semiotics, depth and relief make the process of approach and application tangible. From what was once discarded, the remains of any original intentions are recycled and re-appropriated, realising the immediacy of a previously unseen creative potential as a work of uniqueness and authenticity.
