Colour wheel

By  Emily Tracy 2018
2018 Colour charts, CD sleeves, discarded objects. I have been working of a series of participatory and semi sculptural artworks which use colour and objects and explore the human desire to record, classify and order which reflect the desire to make sense of the unpredictable nature of life. The process of matching objects to colours allows participants to stop, look closely, observe and then create their own system of order to a group of random, messy, ugly discarded objects. I have used CD sleeves to create the sculptural form in reference to storage of data systems.
