Coming Into Focus

A view across the water, the Captain training his binoculars on a clipper coming into focus, what could be more nautical? The idea for this painting came about when I was commissioned to supply paintings for a cruise liner (Royal Caribbean International) - however it wasn't included in the final submission of work because I was later informed that the commissioned works must be on aluminium to comply with fire regulations!
