Concertina Sketchbook 3

My concertina sketchbooks were made to record the many walks taken in my local area along parts of the Ridgeway National Trail and the Icknield Way near where I live in Buckinghamshire during 2020. Discovering and re-discovering the local tracks and trails, witnessing and recording the landscape changing through the seasons was not only a creative exercise but a welcome distraction during lockdown. Sketchbook No.3 records the landscapes seen during walks during May - December 2020. The sketchbook is made out of a single sheet of paper and can be unfolded to see the drawings together. The drawings can then exist in both a 3 dimensional and 2 dimensional format.
