Concorde Vortex

On the site of the former Filton Airport in Patchway Bristol, two images of Concorde in plan and profile are laser cut into the railings. Every Concorde which ever flew, took off for the first time from this site. Both Concordes are drawn out into a spiraling vortex, the motion which gave the iconic aeroplane lift. The work was commissioned by Lidl Great Britain Limited.
